Meet little Izzy, She comes sitting on top of her very own creme velvet pincushion surrounded by six strawberries made from hand dyed wool felt.

Izzy is approximately 5 1/2" tall when standing and she carries with her awee tiny strawberry of her own.

Izzy's pincushion is approximately 6 1/2" tall and completely made from new materials except for the tiny rick rack trim. It is attached to a glass base.

Izzy and pincushion were entirely hand made by me. Izzy's head and hands were hold from paper clay and her little body and legs sewn from cloth. Izzy comes dressed in all vintage materials.

Izzy comes signed and dated.

Meet Ladye Christiana, She is a Queen Anne Inspired lady and she stands just over 17" tall.She is dressed in her finest today. All though she has no special plans. She felt the need to pamper herself.

She is quite proud of her hat for she made it herself. She is thinking about taking a walk through the garden. It is quite windy and hot out today. So she undecided if she wants to leave the shade or not.

But if she is going to show off that hat she is going to have to take that walk. What is a girl to do. I say stay cool Christiana, I think you will have another chance and a nicer day to show off that hat. It is quite befitting for such a proper lady.

Ladye Christiana is completely hand made. I hand molded her head and hands from paper clay and her body and legs sewn from cloth.
Christiana's dress is made from a beautiful piece of vintage flounce and from parts of antique bobbin lace. She is trimmed in vintage tulle and lace. Christiana also carries with her a little cream strawberry made from new silk and vintage seam binding.
Christiana's hat is made from vintage straw and vintage net , flowers and seam binding.
She has all painted on features and has a beautiful wig made from hand dyed mohair.
She comes with her very own hand made stand, and both Ladye Christiana and her stand will come signed and dated.

I hope you enjoy visiting this ladye as much as I have enjoyed creating her.

Autumn is approaching and Jane knows that her time in the gardens is coming the end. Winter will be settling in soon and the gardens will covered in a blanket of snow .

Jane will be picking flowers and adding new arrangement daily to her home to savor in the last of summer splendors. Have a most enjoyable time Jane. I will be doing the same.

A little info about the Dolls

Each of the ladies are dressed using antique and vintage materials and each carries a little token of love for their sweetheart. A little cone filled with their love with a little heart attached each one.Each doll has a differant personality which is evident just by looking at them. Little belle is a little angel who has been helping cupid bring people together in love on Valentines day. She has secretly been in love with Cupid for some time now and she is finally going to tell him.Then there Valentine who has just meet the man of her dreams and waits excitedly for him to take her to the Valentines day dance. Catherine, who has been married for years to her best friend waits excitedly for her husbands return home from a business trip in the city. Little Lydia who has been in love with the boy next door all her life and what she doesn't know is that he going to purpose to her on Valentines day. Last but not least, there is Hannah A free spirit and a newly married bride who is planning a little surprise for her sweetheart. Each of the ladies heads and hands where made from hand molded paperclay. No mold where used. Paper clay is a new material for me and I just love it. I will continue to make dolls using paper mache but I am also going to continue making dolls from paperclay also. Their bodies and legs are made from new cloth. Belle, Valentine, and Lydia have all painted on features and Hannah and Cathrine have black glass seed bead eyes and shoes made from vintage paper.
